<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass fixing device, capable of suppressing the influence of sunlight by reflection on the outside of a building. <P>SOLUTION: The device comprises a glass 3 provided on the building 1 and a handrail 1 for fixing the glass 3 to a position irradiated with sunlight R. Since the glass 3 is provided with an upwardly outer inclination to the vertical direction, the sunlight R incident substantially from just above can be reflected to a direction distant from the building 1, and the influence of the sunlight R to a passenger near the building can be reduced.
