METHOD FOR PRODUCING ELASTIC FABRIC COMPRISING SPANDEX AND HARD YARN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an elastomer fabric comprising a spandex and a hard yarn. SOLUTION: The method for producing an elastomer fabric having an elongation in a weft direction and/or a warp direction of 10-45% is disclosed. A core-spun composite elastomer yarn is produced either by (a) core-spinning of elastomer yarn by low-drafting (≤2.7 times) or (b) lowering of yarn strength by pretreatment of a core-spun composite yarn with steam at least at 110°C or in hot water before dyeing or weaving. The fabric using the core-spun composite elastomer yarn as a weft satisfies the final use standard without heat setting. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
