PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk housing body capable of easily housing and taking out a disk and a disk device. SOLUTION: The disk housing body 2 for housing a disk includes a casing 3 having an opening 531 formed to house the disk in a disk housing part 53, and a cap member 6 for closing the opening 531. The casing 3 includes a support part disposed to rotatably rotate the other end side of the cap member 6 so as to bring one end side of the cap member 6 close to or away from the casing 3. The disk housing part 53 includes anerecting piece 54 having one end engaged with the disk housing part 53, and the other end engaged with the cap member 6 to erect from the disk housing part according to rotation of the cap member 6, and rotatably attached to the side opposed to the side of the support part. The erecting piece 54 includes a raising part 542 for raising the disk housed in the disk housing part when the cap member 6 is rotated in a direction away from the casing 3.
