PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that a hot melt can appropriately coat the outer peripheral surface of a round bar-like member. SOLUTION: A coating roller 70, arranged in the way that the outer peripheral coating surface 70A of the coating roller 70 faces the outer peripheral depositing surface 60A of a dipping roller 60 horizontally, is driven to rotate with the help of a second drive means 74. The round bar-like member 11, which makes a member outer peripheral surface 13 of the member 11 face the outer peripheral coating surface 70A of the coating roller 70 horizontally, is driven to rotate with the help of a third drive means 88 in the way that the round bar-like member 11 is supported by a member supporting part 82. When the coating of the hot melt HM all around the member outer peripheral surface 13 of the round bar-like member 11, is completed, the rotation of the coating roller 70 is stopped by controlling the second drive means 74, and the rotation of the round bar-like member 11 is accelerated by controlling the third drive means 88 so as to allow it to go faster than when the hot melt is coated.
