PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight training support apparatus which can support continuation of weight training hardly boring a user. SOLUTION: A weight 13 jointed to an arm 23 is brought up/down according to operation by a user. Motion of the arm 23 is detected by a linear encoder 73. Based on the result of this detection, when the motion of the arm 23 satisfies a predetermined condition, a trigger is generated.
