发明名称 REPLICATION/TRANSCRIPTION SYSTEM FOR INFLUENZA VIRUS GENOME USING YEAST CELL
摘要 It has not been confirmed to date that a minus-strand RNA virus genome is introduced into a yeast cell and that such a genome is replicated in the yeast cell. Here, the inventor succeeded in causing a transcription/replication reaction from a virus RNA genome in yeast by introducing vRNP purified from an influenza virus particle into yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). If virus genome replication, virus gene transcription and virus protein expression become possible in a yeast cell in which a great amount of genetic information is accumulated, a specific host cell factor related to influenza virus infection, replication thereof in a host and pathogenicity can be identified. For this reason, the invention can provide an essential tool or method for the development of an anti-influenza virus agent.
