<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator for an airbag device making an occupant relaxed by releasing aroma into an automobile in operation. <P>SOLUTION: An aroma generation label 1a is attached to a ceiling surface 12a of a diffuser shell 12 of the gas generator 10. A operation, by burning of a gas generating agent 17, the ceiling surface 12a also becomes a high temperature.
