<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card information authentication system allowing authentication, even if a card type is varied on condition that a driver and application for an IC card are installed in a client terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The IC card information authentication system is provided with a function for referring a card ID or a card type transmitted from the client terminal 3 to an IC card server 2, to which an IC card reader/writer 7 is connected. By using the function for USB virtual connection, control is switched to connect the IC card reader/writer 7 connected to the IC card server 2 to the client terminal 3 for transmitting the card ID, when identity of the card ID or the card type is recognized. The client terminal 3 checks user information in the IC card for performing authentication and carries out data access to a peripheral apparatus, when the authentication shows agreement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
