<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for producing an alkenyl acetate having an enhanced activity or selectivity. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a catalyst for producing an alkenyl acetate includes a process 1 of contacting to impregnate a carrier with a solution A of a compound containing palladium or platinum, a process 2 of contacting to impregnate the carrier with a solution B of a compound containing at least a group II element and an alkaline compound, a process 3 of carrying out a reduction treatment, and a process 4 of supporting an acetic acid salt on the carrier wherein the process 1 and the process 2 are successively performed to obtain the catalyst for producing the alkenyl acetate including at least the carrier (a), palladium or platinum (b), the group II element (c), and the acetic acid salt (d). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
