<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection property detecting device for acquiring occasional injection properties including a secular property change. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel injection property detecting device (an engine control ECU) for detecting fuel injection properties when injecting and supplying fuel to an object engine is applied to a fuel supply system which uses a predetermined fuel injection valve for injecting and supplying fuel into a cylinder as a fuel combustion part of the object engine. It comprises programs (Steps S32, S35) for sequentially detecting the pressure of fuel to be supplied to the fuel injection valve and storing pulsating patterns of fuel pressure along with the injecting operation of the fuel injection valve into a predetermined storage device (an EEPROM in an ECU, or a backup RAM) while associating them with a fuel injection amount and a fuel pressure level at this time (particularly regarding to a predetermined learning injection pattern consisting of single-stage injection). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
