PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of enlarging inductance and an induced voltage of a coil antenna element without using a magnetic substance, and to provide a method of electronically varying the inductance and induced voltage. SOLUTION: An active coil antenna detects and amplifies a potential difference between high frequency signals at both terminals of a coil antenna element 3, and the amplified potential difference is fed back to one terminal of the coil antenna element 3. Furthermore, by electronically controlling a gain of a differential detector 4 or an amplifier 5, the inductance and an induced voltage of the coil antenna element 3 can be made electronically variable.
