PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evade the influence of a higher harmonic of a digital clock signal on a frequency of a receiving signal in the case of receiving a digital terrestrial broadcasting wave. SOLUTION: The digital broadcasting receiver is provided with: an antenna 3 and a tuner part 4 for receiving a digital broadcasting wave composed of 13 segments; a clock generation part 2 for generating and outputting a clock signal of a prescribed frequency, i.e. a clock signal whose frequency is different from the frequency of a segment concerned with partial reception e.g., about a specific segment and its higher harmonic; an operation part 18 for selecting a channel required to be viewed; and a CPU 1 for controlling broadcasting so that the broadcasting of the channel selected by the channel selection means can be viewed on the basis of the clock signal.
