PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AD converter which is reduced in circuit area and achieves low-current-consumption operation. SOLUTION: The AD converter 100 according to the present invention is configured so that by setting an inversion threshold voltage of an inverter constituting a voltage comparator 110 equal to a reference voltage of the AD converter 100, a reference voltage generating circuit which is necessary to set before is eliminated to decrease the number of error correction terminals due to fining, thereby reducing the circuit scale and attaining the low-current-consumption operation.
