PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive high-polymer electrolytic capacitor having low impedance, high withstand pressure (suitably, 70% as high as a formation voltage or higher), and a high capacity achievement rate. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a production method for a conductive high-polymer electrolytic capacitor electrolyte containing at least a conductive high polymer and an ion liquid, wherein when making an oxidant act on a mixture composed of a monomer forming the conductive high polymer and the ion liquid, it relates to a production method for a conductive high-polymer electrolytic capacitor electrolyte that adds a polymerization retardant.
