PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a cold-cathode fluorescent lamp excelling in strength and electric conductivity, and easily manufacturable; and a cold-cathode fluorescent lamp including it. SOLUTION: This invention is related to this electrode 20 for a cold-cathode fluorescent lamp, and this cold-cathode fluorescent lamp 10 including it. The cold-cathode fluorescent lamp 10 has a cup-shaped electrode 22, and an electrode lead wire 25 including an internal lead wire 27 connected to the cup-shaped electrode 22, and an external lead wire 28 formed integrally with the internal lead wire 27 and having a length of 2-8 mm; and, as a result, the electrode 20 for a cold-cathode fluorescent lamp excelling in strength and electric conductivity, and easily manufacturable, and the cold-cathode fluorescent lamp 10 including it are provided.
