摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately perform measurement of a high-concentration sample by forming a sample layer having an appropriate thickness which never causes multiple scattering. SOLUTION: A sample cell used in a laser diffraction scattering particle size distribution measuring device includes a groove 61 formed in a transparent plate to extend from one end to the other end thereof as a sample storage part for high-concentration sample. The width W of the groove is set larger than the width of laser beam, and the height of the groove is set almost equal to the size of the largest particle contained in a measurement sample group. A sample layer having an appropriate thickness which causes multiple scattering can be formed by placing a sample on the groove 61 and removing the excess sample by a scraper.
