PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorption module that solves the problems of modules using inorganic adsorbents and organic polymer sorption material, while achieving both high speeds of moisture absorption and desorption and high water resistance, and a method of manufacturing it. SOLUTION: The sorption module comprises a sorption material layer 1 provided on the heat-transfer surface of a heat exchanger, the sorption material layer 1 being formed by adhering a sorption material in the form of short fibers and/or granules composed of 1 to 12 meq/g of a salt type carboxyl group and an organic polymer with a cross-liked structure onto an adhesive layer applied onto the heat-transfer surface. Also, the sorption material layer absorbs not less than 2 g/m2 of moisture in 3 minutes per unit area, and has a water drop rate of not more than 10%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
