PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor mat capable of avoiding damage by contamination and abrasion of a floor material and enhancing in-cabin intrusion reduction effect of noise by certainly preventing position deviation and floating by the load in getting on/off of an occupant and turn of a peripheral edge by exhibiting strong anchor effect relative to a floor material by imparting a function for engaging with a surface layer part of the floor material. SOLUTION: The floor mat 1 is provided with a carpet (surface layer material) 2 of a pile structure, and a back rubber seat (back layer material) 3 comprising a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) joined to the back surface. On the back surface of the back rubber seat 3, a large number of projections 60 provided with a hook part 4 engageable with a surface layer part 9b of the pile structure of the floor base material 9 molded and laid along a floor panel 8 at the indoor side 7 of an automobile are formed.
