PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front structure of a vehicle capable of absorbing a shock satisfactorily, facilitating its repair, and suppressing the whole length of the vehicle to desired length. SOLUTION: This front structure 10 of the vehicle is provided with right and left upper mount brackets 51 provided on an upper member 31, right and left lower mount brackets 52 provided on a lower member 32, and right and left cooling system protection plates 53 provided on right and left side members 33, 34 and connected with the mount brackets 51, 52 to protect cooling system parts 17. When a front bumper beam 21 is abutted on the right and left cooling system protection plates 53, these protection plates 53 can move horizontally and to the rear of a vehicle body. The mount brackets 51, 52 can move horizontally and to the rear of the vehicle body by following the horizontal travel of the right and left cooling system protection plates 53.
