FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes determining the difference in distances between roller necks on both sides with the help of a measuring device representing a rod furnished with a fixed support, on its one end, and measuring head on the other end. Aforesaid distance is measured over the roller neck outer profile. Aforesaid fixed support represents a smooth vertical plane, while indicator with measuring tip is fixed on movable support to allow adjusting the proposed device to required distance. For this, the measuring device is adjusted to initial size on one side of the rollers by fitting the support rod onto both roller necks and fix the adjusted size on indicator. Then, the device is moved onto the other side of the rollers, registered thereon and the deviation of new size from the initial one is read off. ^ EFFECT: higher accuracy and speed of checking rollers for parallelism. ^ 1 dwg |
