A front structure for a vehicle, capable of efficiently absorbing collision energy irrespective of the type of collision. In the front structure, a load transmission member disposed on the inner side-surface at a front corner of a sub frame has a load transmission member male part mounted on a front frame and a load transmission member female part mounted on a side frame. In a collision type where a localized load is inputted into the front frame, the load transmission member male part and the load transmission member female part are fitted to each other, and this prevents the front frame from rotating in the direction of approaching the side frame and causes an inputted collision load to be transmitted to the side frame through the load transmission member. In a collision type where a collision load is inputted in the direction of the axis of the side frame, the load transmission member mail part is separated from the load transmission member female part, and the transmission of load through the load transmission member is interrupted.
