<p>Multipart spray nozzle manufacturing involves forming a metal joint (28) by sealing nozzle parts against each other through laser soldering. The laser for soldering is selected from neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet solid-state lasers. The metal joint is attached with a die (20), which is sealed with a nozzle casing (18). The die is made from tungsten carbide or an alloy of tungsten carbide. The nozzle casing is made of high grade steel or an alloy of high grade steel. An independent claim is also included for a spray nozzle, which has a die and a nozzle casing, in which die is made from tungsten carbide or an alloy of tungsten carbide.</p> |
