<p>The device has infrared (IR)-receiving units (6, 7) inserted within a measuring section (M) below each rail (1a, 1b) of a railway line (1) in a railroad sleeper and attached to an evaluating unit. Microphones (8, 9) are attached to the evaluating unit and the rails within the measuring section laterally located outside the railway line. The microphones are designed as supersensitive cardioid microphones, and a detection unit (10) is arranged within the measuring section.</p> |
