A storage system and a storage device are provided to improve efficiency in processing data and simply implement a system in the FIFO(First In First Out) manner. A storage system(100) comprises the followings: a plurality of data I/O parts(101A, 101B) through which data are inputted and outputted; a data memory part(103) which stores data which is inputted and outputted through the data I/O parts; a range information memory unit(102a) which memorizes range information for showing the respective ranges of memory space of the data memory part, which are assigned to each data I/O parts; the first controller(102) which performs control of reading and writing data on the data memory part based on the range information, and at the same time, when a predetermined signal is inputted from the data I/O parts, records the range information as a predetermined range information predetermining, again; and a plurality of second controllers(104A, 104B) which are installed correspondingly to the plural data I/O parts, and performs the input and output of data between the data I/O parts as inputting the predetermined signal to the data I/O parts.
