A load cell capable of realizing adjustment of creep characteristics in a method except for changing a tab ratio is obtained. The load cell (1) includes a strain generating body (2) having a strain generated portion (3), and a strain detection element (4) provided on a surface of the strain generating body (2) in a portion corresponding to the strain generated portion (3) and having an inversion portion (7) and a straight portion (8), wherein a creep characteristic is adjusted by a thickness of the strain generated portion (3) in a portion corresponding to the inversion portion (7).
