Device and method for thermally stimulated analysis in particular for determining physical-chemical properties and irradiation history of soil samples. The device and method could be applied to the exploration of oil, natural gas, and minerals. The device includes a heating unit 2, a main thermally stimulated process unit 3, at least one supplemental thermally stimulated process unit 4, and a computer 5. The method requires the use of at least two of the following four thermally stimulated processes: (1) thermally stimulated luminescence (TSL), (2) thermally stimulated photometry (TSPM), (3) thermally stimulated conductivity (TSC), and (4) thermally stimulated exoelectron emission (TSEE). The method includes performing a main thermally stimulated process analysis via heating the soil sample 1 and recording the readout result with the main thermally stimulated process unit 3, performing a supplemental thermal process analysis with the supplemental thermally stimulated unit 4, performing a comparative analysis of results and making a conclusion on the presence of oil, natural gas, and minerals in the investigated area. |
