<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which enables a content service related to a broadcast program to be provided from the broadcast program. <P>SOLUTION: Fundamental EPG information of the broadcast program and a meta information reference ID made to correspond to meta information of a content related to the broadcast program are transmitted to an information receiver (101), and a user acquires meta information of the content on the basis of the meta information reference ID by the information receiver (101) when necessary.
