<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary antenna member for a non-contact data-carrier apparatus built-in a bag and the auxiliary antenna member for the same, as accompanying a bag and enabling communication with a reader/writer at a long distance, while being attached thereto or stored in a pocket arranged therein. <P>SOLUTION: The bag has the built-in auxiliary antenna member for the non-contact data-carrier apparatus for extending the communication range of a card-type non-contact data-carrier apparatus in use. The auxiliary antenna member for the non-contact data-carrier apparatus is larger in size than the non-contact data-carrier apparatus, and forms an antenna circuit having an antenna coil for resonance to communicate with the reader/writer, which is substantially planar along a bag surface. Communication is performed with the reader/writer, while attaching the non-contact data-carrier apparatus in a substantially center location of the antenna coil, or being stored in the arranged pocket. The antenna coil is provided with a variable length coil and/or a variable capacitor for use in adjusting resonance thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
