An address receiving circuit of the semiconductor device is provided to improve layout margin since latch for storing the address according to the MRS instruction is not required. In an address receiving circuit of the semiconductor device, a controlling unit(100) has activation period corresponding to the input time difference standard related to command for initializing the semiconductor device. An address buffer(200) receives the address(A(0:13),BA(0:1)) according to the control signal. The controlling unit prevents level transition of the control signal during predetermined time when command of initiating the semiconductor device.
