The grid has a grid base with several movement gaps that allow passage of cooling air. The movement gaps lie relative to each other individually or in groups operationally along moved planks (2-6), and are arranged transverse to the conveying direction parallely on an assigned carrying structure. Side edges face one another to form two parallely arranged planks with two profiles that are essentially complementary to each other, where the movement gaps are formed between the two profiles. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooling a bulk material layer lying on a material handling grid by means of cooling air that is blown out by a grid base. |
