A portable terminal having a movable keypad is provided to enable a user to change the structure of the keypad according to the purpose of use of the portable terminal. A portable terminal(100) comprises a main body having an inner display unit, and the first and second keypads(200, 300) respectively having keys for input on its upper side. The first and second keypads are placed and moved on the inner display unit as being adjacent to each other. The first keypad slides on the upper side of the main body. The second keypad is coupled with the main body through a hinge and rotates at a predetermined angle centering on the hinge.
