A device and a method for supplying a developing agent are provided to control developing agent transfer by sensing a surrounding environment state, thereby improving a uniformity rate of a developing agent when supplying a developing agent. A first sensor(110) senses a surrounding environment state. A developing agent transfer unit(140) transfers a developing agent by performing a rotation operation. A first setting unit(120) sets rotation speed of the developing agent transfer unit according to the surrounding environment state sensed by the first sensor. A controller controls the rotation speed of the developing agent transfer unit primarily according to the rotation speed set by the first setting unit.
