<p>The sewing machine has housing, a blade (24) for cutting sewed material or cotton and a counter blade (16) that interacts with the blade. The counter blade has a blade plate of solid material with no apertures clamped in a holder in which it can be placed in at least two different orientations. In each of the counter blade orientations one or more counter blade cutting edges (23) associated with the orientations interacts with the blade. An independent claim is also included for a counter blade with at least two cutting edges.</p> |
