A fastener for insertion in a cellular or solid structure comprises attachment means such as a floating or fixed nut or bolt and an at least partially peripherally open receptacle containing a plastics bonding agent which contours an expanding agent. The expanding agent may be caused to expand the plastics bonding agent by the application of heat, and further heating after expansion may be applied to cure the bonding agent. Examples of bonding agents and expanding agents are given. |
