A radiocommunication system supports multi-user multiplexing. Half-rate dat a communications with interleaving of data between two sources are described. This multiplexing technique provides, effectively, two sub-channels of informatio n, which in turn provides an opportunity to improve decoding/demodulation of each sub- channel by re-encoding/remodulation information after successful decoding/demodulation of one sub-channel.
