<p>A system and a method for blocking spam mails are provided to block the spam mails effectively by authenticating a sender with an authentication email and normally processing the email received from the authenticated sender. A mail transceiver(10) receives/stores emails to a temporary storing part(20), deletes the email when a response is not received from a sender for a predetermined time after transmission of an authentication email, and transfers the stored emails to a receiver mail account of a mail server(200) when the response is received from the sender. A black list(70) stores an email or IP(Internet Protocol) address of the senders refused by all receivers registered in a mail server(100). A black list blocker(50) blocks the email received from the email or IP address included in the blacklist among the received emails at a front side of the mail transceiver. A white list(30) stores the email address of the authenticated senders and the registered email address by each receiver. An authenticator(40) searches the email address of the sender from the white list, transmits the authentication email when the email address of the sender is not found, and authenticates the sender depending on the response of the sender.</p> |
