摘要 The invention concerns a method and an architecture for remote control, vi a an internet-type network (RI), of a user station (1) comprising a smart card reader (3). The data required to control the station (1) are stored (41) in a remote server (4). The station (1) comprises a web-type browser (10) that transmits requests to the server (4). In response, the latter generates specific commands designed for the smart card (2). The station (1) comprises a specialized software module (8) forming an interface between the smart card reader (3) and the internet network (RI). This module (8) translates the specific commands into commands in conformity with the ISO 78 16- 4 standard, and transmits them to the smart card (2) in order to activate an application of the latter. The server (4) can also store (42) HTML pages. The smart card (2 ) transmits, via the specialized software module (8), a response to the remote server (4), which processes it and retransmits the data to the browser (10) for display on a screen (5). The invention is particularly applicable to a smart card (2) demonstrator.
