A film image scanner is provided to obtain an image of high definition of high quality by scanning an image of a film having light transmission. A loading track is on a main body(10). The loading track loads a film having light-transmission and on which an image is developed. A cover frame(30) opens/closes the loading track(12) to rotate at a rear side of the body. The first and second feed rollers(50,52) can load the film(2) in the main body along with a loading magnetic track(12). The first and the second pinch rollers(60.62) are mounted on the cover frame with the first and the second feed rollers as a pair to load the film along with the loading magnetic track. The first and the second pinch rollers are arranged to get on and off the first and the second feed rollers respectively. The first and the second pinch rollers are deflected elastically to stick a film to the first and the second feed rollers.
