Provided are a composite polymer electrolyte membrane to prevent the poisoning of a catalyst and to improve the lifetime of a fuel cell, a method for preparing the composite polymer electrolyte membrane, and a fuel cell using the composite polymer electrolyte membrane. The composite polymer electrolyte membrane comprises 100 parts by weight of an acidic conductive polymer which comprises decafluorobiphenyl and 4,4-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphenol or 4,4-isopropylidene diphenol as a monomer and has a sulfonic acid group at a main chain; and 10-200 parts by weight of a poly(vinyl imidazole) which can be acid/base crosslinked with the sulfonic acid group of the acidic conductive polymer. Preferably the acidic conductive polymer has a number average molecular weight of 5,000-1,000,000. |
