The jet unit, to texturize yarns, has a channel (6) between two base bodies (1), with at least one jet body (5) to feed a gas medium into it. The channel has at least one gas escape port (8). At least part-zones of the channel (6) are of a material with a higher resistance than the base bodies (1). The resistant material is ceramic, as an insert or attachment at the base bodies (1), which also incorporates the jet body (5). The insert has a spring fitting within the base bodies, with a cut-in or the like for the spring action. The channel (6) has a quadrilateral cross section at the gas escape (8), with perforated plates and the like on both sides of the channel (6) as gas escape windows, held in place by magnets at the base body (1). A shaped section (9) is at the outlet from the channel (6), to lead the texturized yarn directly to a cooling drum. The section (9) is a part of the texturizing jet or is connected to it. |
