A sense amp circuit is provided to reduce current consumption by turning off the power of the sense amp to write data quickly at light enable period. In a sense amp circuit, a sense amp(10), connected to the bit line(BL) and the complementary bit line(BL), amplifies the data of the cell array and latches the amplified data. A controller controls the voltage source(RTO, SB) supplied to the sense amplifier in response to the first signal. The controller cuts off the power of sense amplifier when a first signal is activated. A first driver supplies the first voltage to the sense amplifier in response to the first signal. A second driver supplies the second voltage to the sense amplifier in response to an inverted signal of the first signal.
