A stepped garden retaining wall drainage system is provided to prevent the structural defect and unpretty external appearance. A stepped garden retaining wall drainage system(300) comprises a longitudinal drainpipe(320) which is installed at the garden rising surface of the retaining wall front surface lower part in order to be reclaimed to the vegetation soil inner side of the garden part, a traverse drainpipe(310) of which one end is connected to the longitudinal drainpipe and the other end is extended to the rear slant inner side.
