An ignition system (6) has a support containing dip switches (7) that are placed at regular intervals, and plastic clamps for fixing the system on a brake lever allowing a user to actuate a stop light. The ignition system automatically transmits information to the case such that the case sends a luminous signal via LEDs to indicate braking of a bicycle, when the user grips the lever.
