A drill stand is provided to machine a workpiece precisely at various angle because a drill is elevated up to intended angle. A drill stand(1) comprises a body having a moving groove(164) in which the drill is moved up and down in center; and an elevating frame(130) of a rod type fixed on its both ends. A drill fitting hole(144) is formed on its center. A drill is fastened by a bolt, fitted into a drill fitting hole by a drill fixing tool(140); a return spring(146) is equipped to the direction which the drill is erected in order to help the drill to machine a workpiece by elevating on both ends. The drill stand comprises a drill fixing body(300) equipped with a handle(150) for holding the drill securely on its one sied.
