METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MEASURING ROTATING ANGULAR VELOCITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten rising time up to the stabilization of the vibrating state of a vibrator while downscaling a circuit necessary for its start when the vibrator is excited to generate a driving vibration.

SOLUTION: When a detection signal is output from the vibrator based on the driving vibration excited in the excited vibrator 1 and a physical quantity to be measured and the physical quantity is measured based on the detection signal, the driving vibration is excited in the vibrator 1. A self-oscillation circuit 9A is provided for producing an oscillation loop together with the vibrator 1 and exciting the vibrator 1 to generate the driving vibration. The self-oscillation circuit 9A is equipped with a CR oscillation circuit 5A. The CR oscillation circuit 5A is used to give a starting signal of the rectangular wave to the vibrator 1 to cause the vibrator 1 to start the driving vibration.
