<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether or not a connection is canceled normally when the process of canceling a connection between two drive circuits driving a generator and an electric motor, and an electrical storage device, is performed by a connection canceling device during travel. <P>SOLUTION: If the process of turning off a system main relay is performed during travel, the gate of a booster circuit is shut off, an engine is operated autonomously, and two motors are controlled so that electric power is further consumed (S100 to S120). Before a measured time value t exceeds a threshold value t1, a determination is made as to whether or not the absolute value of a voltage change ΔVL is not less than a threshold value ΔLref (S140 to S210). When the voltage change ΔVL is not less than the threshold value ΔVLref, a determination is made that the system main relay has been turned off normally (S220); when the measured time value t exceeds the threshold value t1 without the absolute value of the voltage change ΔVL becoming not less than the threshold value ΔLref, a determination is made that the system main relay is welded (S240). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
