<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a pixel value of a temporary high-resolution image having the number of pixels larger than the number of pixels included in a reference frame by interpolation processing based on a pixel value of the reference frame to obtain a sharp high-resolution image. <P>SOLUTION: This image magnification device has: a temporary high-resolution pixel value calculation part setting one frame of image data as a reference frame, and calculating the pixel value of the temporary high-resolution image having the number of the pixels larger than the number of the pixels included in the reference frame by the interpolation processing based on the pixel value of the reference frame; a corresponding position calculation part sequentially setting a plurality of pixels inside one or more frames included in the image data as target pixels, and calculating one or more corresponding positions to the reference frame of the target pixel with decimal accuracy; a temporary high-resolution pixel value correction amount calculation part calculating a correction amount of the temporary high-resolution pixel value corresponding to the corresponding position in parallel from the corresponding position, a pixel value of the target pixel, and the temporary high-resolution pixel value; a correction amount temporary storage part storing a plurality of the temporary high-resolution pixel value correction amounts; an addition part adding the plurality of temporarily stored correction values; and a temporary high-resolution pixel value correction part correcting the temporary high-resolution pixel value by use of the added correction amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
