<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tab navigation method and a related device. <P>SOLUTION: This method includes a step of displaying a first tab set, a step of receiving touch input triggered by a user, a step of changing the positions of a plurality of tabs distributed sequentially along the direction of the display screen based on the touch input, and a step of displaying a second tab set based on the changed positions of the plurality of tabs distributed sequentially along the direction of the display screen. The plurality of tabs included in the first tab set are sequentially distributed along the direction on the display screen disposed in a portable digital information device, and are a subset of the plurality of tabs included in a master set of tabs. The touch input is triggered by the procedure that the user touches a touch-sensitive area disposed on the portable digital information device and drags a finger across the touch-sensitive area in a direction parallel to the direction.
