PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator core and a stator for possibly preventing the maximum torque from being reduced while a cogging torque can be reduced. SOLUTION: The stator core 2 is formed with a plurality of divided cores 7 annularly disposed. Each divided core 7 includes a yoke 4, and teeth 3 protruded from an inner circumference of the yoke 4. The stator core 2 is composed by two types or more of the divided cores 7 with different permeabilities. If the number of the divided cores 7 is 6n (n: a natural number), two types of the divided cores 7 with different permeabilities are alternately disposed. The divided core 71 with high permeability is formed from a laminated steel plate. The divided core 72 with low permeability is a dust molded element formed from a soft magnetic powder material.
