SPLIT STATOR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a split stator in which an occupied ratio of a coil is improved to improve output of a motor. SOLUTION: The split stator to be circularly coupled to form a stator includes a core of the split stator in which a back yoke portion is provided on the external circumferential edge of a teeth portion extending in a diameter direction, a flange portion is provided on the internal circumferential edge and a slot portion for housing the coil surrounded by the teeth portion, the back yoke portion and the flange portion is provided; an insulating resin layer coated on the bottom surface and both the side surfaces of the slot portion; and a winding of hexagonal cross section wound like a coil around the teeth portion and housed in the slot portion. A positioning groove of triangular cross section to which an apex angle part of the winding is fitted is continuously formed in the axial direction of the coil on the insulating resin layer of the bottom surface of the slot portion, and the windings on the second and subsequent stages of the external circumference are normally wound while using the winding on the first stage of the innermost circumference to be positioned and held by the positioning groove as a foundation.
